Kathmandu!!!

Made it to Kathmandu, not what we expected. Words cannot describe it. Probably as poor of place as either of us have seen.  Picture Lebanon minus the war!
Finally met our expedition leader, Kumar Lama. Very nice guy. English is broken, luckily Tom and I easily adapt to these sorts of adversities.

    Glad to see your trip is progressing as planned. Were those guns for sale at that outdoor market? That's crazy!
    I see you both got some colour, so maybe there is a chance you will fit in on the mountain.

    It's crazy here guys. Filthy dirty. Beer are okay food is nasty! Just ate my first of many pieces of beef jerky.
    3:30 am and cannot sleep. Lol this is not for the faint of heart.

    Tommy, you look like your having a great time..beers in every pic. Hopefully they have a bar half way up the hill so you can climatize yourself! Cheers, have fun be safe.
